All photographs published on insidepanama.com are the exclusive property of LAS FUNDADORAS HERMANAS S.A. (RUC 155776412-2-2025), operating under the Inside Panama trade name.

1. Ownership and copyright

The photographs available on this site — particularly in the /lieux/* (/places/*) sections (Parque Urracá, Cinta Costera, Urracá ↔ Cinta footbridge, Casco Viejo, Mercado de Mariscos, Bella Vista, Punta Paitilla, Albrook Mall, and others) — were taken personally by Jade Martinez and Eva Martinez, Inside Panama co-founders, on the ground in Panama between January 2026 and the current date.

Each photograph carries in its EXIF / IPTC metadata:

This metadata serves as proof of anteriority in case of dispute. Any unauthorized reproduction engages the civil liability of the infringer.

2. Authorized uses (no prior request needed)

You may freely:

• View photos on insidepanama.com via your browser
• Share a link to an Inside Panama page that contains a photo (via the native share buttons)
• Reference Inside Panama as a source in an article, post, or educational content, with a backlink to insidepanama.com
• Print a page containing a photo for personal use (paper reading, relocation binder, etc.)
• Capture a screenshot for private use or private messaging (WhatsApp, Telegram, family email)

3. Uses requiring prior written authorization

You must contact us at hello@insidepanama.com before any of the following uses:

• Commercial reproduction: use of a photo in a product sold (book, magazine, tourist brochure, calendar, etc.)
• Reproduction on a third-party site: embedding a photo via <img> or downloading-republishing on your site, blog, newsletter, app
• Corporate social media: publishing an Inside Panama photo on a company / agency / brand Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, or X account
• Print marketing: posters, flyers, event materials
• AI training: use of the photos to train or fine-tune a machine learning model (cf. § 6)
• Modification: cropping, filtering, photo montage, or any other transformation of the original photo

Reasonable requests (press, educational media, partners) are accepted in 90% of cases — just ask, it’s usually free for non-commercial use as long as the credit Photo: Inside Panama / insidepanama.com is visible.

4. Strictly forbidden uses

The following are strictly forbidden, no request will be considered:

• Deletion or modification of EXIF / IPTC metadata (particularly the Copyright field)
• Watermark replacement: adding another name or logo on top of Inside Panama content
• Resale of the photo as stock photo (Adobe Stock, Shutterstock, Getty, Alamy, etc.)
• Direct hotlinking from your site without authorization (cf. § 5)
• Defamatory use or in a political context unrelated to Inside Panama’s editorial project

5. Hotlinking & bandwidth

Our site technically blocks hotlinking from external domains (403 response via Referrer-Policy: strict-origin-when-cross-origin). If you need to use a photo, download it after authorization and host it on your own server — not via an insidepanama.com/images/... URL in your <img> tag.

6. Photos & artificial intelligence

Photos are explicitly excluded from AI model training via the X-Robots-Tag: noai, noimageai directives applied to /images/* URLs.

While text crawler bots (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, etc.) are allowed to index our editorial content (presence in Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, ChatGPT Search) — our photographs are protected from this processing.

7. Reporting procedure (DMCA)

If you notice that one of our photos is being illegally reused on a third-party site, you can:

1. Report the case to hello@insidepanama.com with:
   • URL of the infringing page
   • Dated screenshot
   • URL of our original photo
2. We will initiate the DMCA takedown procedure with the site’s host (typically responds within 72 hours).
3. If the host refuses, we proceed to Google delisting via the legal removal procedure (Google Search removal, 24-72h).
