Bella Vista lives all day. Early morning (6-9 am) : runners + cafés. Noon : office lunch crowd. Evening : restaurants + bars on Calle Uruguay. Weekend : Marbella and Paitilla come dine and dance here.

Bars + clubs concentrated on 3 blocks. La Diabla, Bloom, Casa Jaguar. Younger than Casco, afterwork vibe then late club.
Calle 50 shopping
Banks, pharmacies (FarmaValue), supermarkets (Riba Smith, Super 99), Multicentro and MultiPlaza malls nearby.
Walk Cinta Costera
Bella Vista borders Cinta Costera on the south. 10 min on foot via the pedestrian bridge (see our dedicated article) = waterfront for sunset.

- Many MiBus lines on Av. Federico Boyd and Calle 50.

- Fully walkable district — most points of interest are <15 min on foot from each other.
- Parking
- Residential parking is difficult, especially at night. Many restaurants have valet ($3-5).
Expat tips
- For the expat : this is the sweet spot price/quality of life. Punta Paitilla = double price for bay view ; San Francisco / Costa del Este = boring suburb
- Rent furnished 1-bed : $900-1300/month depending on tower. 2-bed family : $1300-1800
- Crime ratio : low. Occasional break-ins (ground floor), avoid Chorrillo area to the west at night
- Noise : Calle Uruguay very loud on weekend evenings — choose a tower-side unit if sensitive
- Traffic jams 7-9 am and 5-7 pm on Av. Federico Boyd — metro faster at peak hours

Bella Vista = central, walkable, expat. Marbella = adjacent to Bella Vista, more business, newer towers. San Francisco = further out, more malls, less walkable.
Is it safe at night?
Yes on main streets (Federico Boyd, Calle 50, Av. Justo Arosemena). Avoid alleys toward Chorrillo to the west after 11 pm.
Monthly budget?
